Healthy High-Protein Chocolate Espresso Smoothie

The chocolate plus coffee combo in our today’s protein filled smoothie is a true delight of taste and flavor to get an instant energy boost.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 banana, chunked and frozen
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • 1 tsp instant coffee grounds {or ½ cup brewed coffee, chilled}
  • 1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp coconut palm sugar {optional}
  • 1 cup coconut milk {or other milk}
  • ½ cup ice {optional}

Recipe Directions:

Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Put it in a blender and blend until smooth. Drink and enjoy.
