Diarrhoea – Symptoms, Causes and Home Remedies

A medical illness in which recurrent and liquid bowel movements occur. Known also as a digestive problem, diarrhea is caused by different types of many infectious and noninfectious.

  • Uncontrollable bowel movements
  • Frequent passage of loose and watery stool
  • Abdominal cramps
  • Stomach pain
  • Blood in stools which leads to reddish or black stools

  • It may be a result of intestinal disorders like,
    • Celiac disease
    • Inflammatory bowel disease
  • Body’s reaction to certain food items or medicines, especially antacids
  • The body is unable to absorb water which comes as part of diet, leading to frequent excretions

Natural Home Remedy Using Lemon Juice, Ginger Paste and Black Pepper

Natural Home Remedy Using Lemon Juice, Ginger Paste and Black Pepper:

  1. Take 2 tsp of lemon juice
  2. Add ½ tsp of ginger paste
  3. Add a pinch of black pepper
  4. Mix well
  5. Consume 2 times a day

Natural Home Remedy Using Cumin Seeds, Fenugreek Seeds and Yogurt

Natural Home Remedy Using Cumin Seeds, Fenugreek Seeds and Yogurt:

  1. Take 2 tsp of cumin seeds
  2. Add 2 tsp of fenugreek seeds
  3. Roast the mixture
  4. Crush the mixture to make a powder
  5. Take 4 tsp of this mixture
  6. Add to a bowl of yoghurt
  7. Mix well
  8. Consume this 3 times a day

  • When travelling, drink only bottled mineral water
  • Avoid eating
    • Outside food
    • Uncooked vegetables
    • Peeled and stored fruits
